about

Dennis brought this Tracy Chapman hit to the band as a personal favorite and one that he felt truly fit with the tone of Bold Riley's musical content. Over time, the band developed an arrangement that merges the intention of the song with Bold Riley's unique musical style. It offers an opportunity for the listener to enjoy Dennis' lead vocals, while maintaining our love of vocal harmonies, some banjo love, and a cajon groove.
